1. What data we collect
- Account: your email address.
- Work entries: titles, descriptions, and dates you provide.
- Journal entries: the text you provide.
- Imported data: resume content and LinkedIn CSV data you choose to import.
- Usage: anonymised PostHog product analytics and Sentry error reports.
- AI processing: your entries are sent to OpenAI (skill extraction) and Anthropic (document generation). They are not stored by those providers beyond the API call.
2. Why we collect it
- To generate tailored resumes and career documents.
- To track your career progress over time.
- To improve the product, using anonymised analytics only.
3. Data storage
- Stored in Supabase, hosted in Mumbai, India (ap-south-1 region).
- Uploaded files are stored in Cloudflare R2.
- Retained until you delete your account.
4. Your rights (DPDP)
- Access: the right to access your data (export coming soon).
- Erasure: deleting your account permanently deletes all of your data.
- Correction: you can edit any entry at any time.
